Web Sites and Lesson 1

What are you guys using for your three web sites and lesson 1??  I know it is Memorial Day weekend, but we aren't allowed to use the same websites as each other.  I am getting all of this done today so post what you are using on this post.

  1. For my lesson I am going to focus on the Government aspects of a community (from our concept map). And then my websites would be resources on Government services/agencies in a community.

  2. I am going to do my lesson on the history of kalamazoo! I am first going to do the local attractions to kalamazoo and why they are significant to kalamazoo's history.

  3. So is the template for the lesson plan on task stream? I am not finding it any where and not sure what to go off of.

  4. Are the three websites we are reviewing, also the ones used in the lesson plans?

  5. I think I am going to focus on the famous people in the history of Kalamazoo for my lesson plan such as famous people or settlers mentioned on the timeline.

  6. Im not sure Courtney about the websites but what formate are you using for the lesson plan?

  7. The format is on task stream. You just fill in the components. And the websites just have to be relevant to the unit as a whole. But I used mine in my lesson plan.

  8. Okay where on task stream is the lesson plan format? I can't find it. And for the websites we are just choosing 3 submitting them online? or do we have to write a few paragraphs about each?

  9. Okay I am doing mine now and will have them to you soon! We have to put all ours in one word document if I read it right. And there is also a lesson plan example under resources in our class content in module 3.

  10. Okay ladies please please read the instructions in the module. Everything is explained there. We don't have to turn in anything together. All individual assignments this week.

  11. Sorry I read the turn in three in one document part wrong. But Megan, there is an example lesson plan on the life cycle of butterflies in module 3 instructions.

    1. Did you find the lesson on task stream? You login and click the lessons/rubrics tab. Then just create a new lesson plan. You click on each grid of the lesson and enter the information. Then you turn it in through task stream.

  13. Yah, I don't have that tab on my task stream so I don't know what I should do?

  14. Once you log in, the tabs are on the top of the page, are you saying you dont see the lesson plan one at all?

  15. hmm, it might just be your computer then, because there is a gray bar that goes across the top, and it says lessons, units and rubrics as the second thing you can click on...and thats how you get the format.
