Virtual Penpals, Google Maps, & Digital Story.

Hey ladies.
We have a lot of work this week. If anyone is familiar with Google documents and would like to start our description of a project with Epals speak up :].  Also, after we complete that, we must make some sort of map to go along with our topic.  If you have any ideas for either please comment so we can get started!  The last thing we have is a digital story.  I am a little confused as to what lesson plans we use for this, the ones  we made maybe? Anyways, lets get the ball rolling so we can finish all this by Sunday! Thanks

Courtney

*UPDATE*
The document is started and both of you have been added.  You can edit, leave comments, and chat with others as they are adding work to the document.  I started the description and gave suggestions but feel free to throw ideas out.  Please comment on this thread or leave a comment in Google Docs if you don't get how to use the document and I can help.

  2. And the digital story/movie is an individual project. But it would be cool for it to be related to our PBL, it doesn't have to be though. So the only two things we need to work on all together this week is the Pen Pals and map thing.

    1. Yes, your movie does have to be related to your PBL. All assignments in this semester will be.

  3. Our digital stories just cant be on the same lesson is what is says. It is an introduction to a lesson, so we all need different aspects of our topic "Local History" for our digital story theme. Should we all just do one on what our first lesson was on? And thanks for starting the document! I will be looking at it tonight or tomorrow. What kind of map do you guys want to create?

  4. It has to be related to our pen pals so I guess we should finish that first and then decide how the map will relate to it.

  5. I agree, let's each do our digital story on the lesson we made last week. I did some editing on the Google document, so check that out. I like the San Francisco idea, so we can start a map now I think. I'll check out how to do that.

  6. Actually, someone else has to start the map in Google. I read in the module that a different person has to start the map, since I started the Google Doc.

  7. Okay well I will do it tomorrow morning and we can get that squared away. I wrote my lesson for fourth grade..so thought that fourth grade was okay. We can stick with second grade from here on out. I check this everyday. We will get it all done in the morning with no worries!
